Frequently Asked Questions

Logging on as a corporate user

Q. I am logging on for the first time. What is my Login ID and password?

A. Your training administrator will provide you with a Login ID and password to log on to the site.

Q. How can I change my password?

A. If your organization has enabled this facility, then you can change your password by clicking the Personalize My e-Learning link on the My SmartForce homepage and selecting the Change Password link.

Q. As a corporate user, can I log on to My SmartForce from home?

A. You need to confirm whether your company allows you to access My SmartForce from home. If it does, then as long as you have Internet access, you can log on to the site from anywhere using the same Login ID and password as before.

Q. I have forgotten my login information to access the site. How can I obtain that?

A. For your convenience, we have added a "Forgot your password?" option to our site which will automatically send your login credentials to the e-mail address that your account is registered under. After selecting this link from the main login page, you will be prompted to input your Login ID. If we can successfully match your Login ID (most commonly your e-mail address) with an active account, we will e-mail you the proper login instructions.

Q. Why am I receiving the "We do not have an e-mail address associated with this Login ID" error message when I use the "Forgot your password?" link?

A. This error message indicates that we do not have an account registered in our system under the Login ID you are providing. If it is possible that you could have been registered under a different Login ID (commonly your e-mail address) you can reattempt to use the "Forgot your password?" link and enter the alternate ID.

Q. I have tried every Login ID I can think of without success. What now?

A. In order to retrieve your login credentials to the site, please send an e-mail to support@smartforce.com , and be sure to include the following pieces of information so that your request can be fulfilled:

Q. I no longer have access to the e-mail address that my account was originally registered under. How can I obtain my login information?

A. For security considerations, we are only able to direct your login credentials to the e-mail address the account is registered to in our system. If you are unable to access that e-mail account any longer, it would be best if you contacted our support department by telephone @ 1-866-SKIL HELP.
